There have been a lot of advancements with the technology since the initial release of the iPad. New tablets, with different operating systems and display formats, have been announced and should be available in Australia very soon. At the upcoming IFRA Expo 2010 in Hamburg, WoodWing will be unveiling several key new features.
Support for Upcoming Tablet Devices: At IFRA Expo 2010 WoodWing will demonstrate its proven solution to publish to the iPad. On top of that, they will also show how to publish to other tablet devices. Unfortunately the rest is a trade secret for now, but if you are heading to IFRA this year you will be pleasantly surprised.
iPad Reader App for Newspaper Customers: WoodWing's iPad Reader App is being used by a large variety of magazine, newspaper and corporate publishers. At IFRA Expo 2010 they will show the upcoming features, specifically developed with the needs of newspaper customers and news-driven applications in mind: publishing daily, several times per day, or even publishing a continuous stream of news articles.
Adobe Support, Subscriptions etc: WoodWing will also demonstrate how the Digital Magazine Solution from Adobe is integrated into their Enterprise publishing system, so publishers can also enjoy the benefits of the best tablet-publishing solution when using the Adobe Viewer instead of the WoodWing Reader. Plus, their staff will be on hand to update you on the latest iPad Reader App features, support for subscriptions, and planned new functionality.
