Last December we shared with you the results of the Reynolds Journalism Institute (RJI) iPad News Survey.
Currently the (RJI) is conducting a multi-year study to gain a better understanding of how owners of Apple iPads and similar media tablets use these mobile devices in their daily lives and how their use of media tablets may influence the future of journalism and the news media.
The initial cross-sectional survey was conducted online from the beginning of September through the end of November 2010. Nearly 1,600 iPad users participated in that survey. A follow-up survey in March 2011 gathered additional information from 561 panelists self-selected from the respondents who completed their original 2010 survey.
This time the RJI are recruiting internationally so, if you own an iPad or other media tablet, you are invited to click here to participate in this survey.
This research project is partially funded by the Digital Publishing Alliance (DPA), a member-supported initiative of the RJI. More information about Digital Publishing Alliance.
The results of all RJI-DPA iPad/Tablet surveys are linked to this page soon after the data has been analyzed and reviewed by the DPA members.
Creative Folks are not affiliated with the RJI, however we feel that the information is well researched so we are happy to promote their survey. Some of our staff have contributed to the survey, which is completely anonymous.
